The new update from the Vehicle Inspection Service in Lagos is that no vehicle can get a Road Worthiness Certificate without physically testing their vehicle. Every vehicle owner or driver must visit a Lagos Computerized Vehicle Inspection Service (LACVIS) to obtain their certificate.
However, you can make payments on CarPaddy.com to get a Referral Note which will be taken to any of the LACVIS centers within 30-days of payment to get vehicles checked at no extra cost. This means after you obtain your Referral Note from CarPaddy.com you have 3o-days to find any LACVIS Centre close to you or that is on your driving route. It is that simple!
If you are going to inspect your truck, you are advised to only visit the testing centres highlighted as (Testing for Cars and Trucks Available) in the list of the centres shown below.
To save time at the LACVIS centre, it is always better to have your referral note ahead of going for your inspection.
